You continue to change every day. One day you look like daddy. The next day, you...still look like daddy. Ha. Well, you can look like daddy all you want, Sophie Bear, but I still think you have my sassiness. This is clearly demonstrated in your persistence when mommy and daddy put you down to self-soothe to sleep!
Look at how much you've changed over the months...
Here, you were one day old.
Here you were a couple days old!
Your first trip outside, into the world. We went to Yorkdale, when you were five days old
Here we are in the nursing room. I can't believe how tiny you were!
Mommy and Daddy decided to go out for sushi to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary (August 3rd). You were just two weeks old here.
Here you are on your one month birthday!
You weren't really happy here. I felt like you might throw up your middle finger at any moment.
Umm...yeah.
Oh, this is when I showed you a picture of daddy and you just couldn't stop smiling!
Daddy loves Sophie-wearing!
I cut my own bangs and gave you a mohawk this day.
Look at your skinny legs here. They are chubby right now though!
You transitioned to sleeping in your crib so effortlessly.
It must be because mommy, daddy and Uncle Adil put so much time and effort into decorating your room!
Do you know you don't even get red bumps on your face from daddy's beard when he gives you kisses?
Yeah, it was Monday. We were crabby.
Can you believe we are standing over the very place where you were born!
How can I say goodbye to this sacred place if/when we move?
Daddy and you on his 30th birthday!
He's so proud of everything you are, Sophie.
Some dads don't like changing diapers, but not your daddy.
He is always good at knowing when you need to be changed,
and loves to change you and rub your bum with coconut oil!
Here we were at a Chi-Gong workshop. You are such a good traveller!
Well....we're still working on rides in the car. Look how big you are here! You're about four months here, and still struggling in the car seat. I think you may have motion sickness, or not like the fact that you can't see mommy or daddy. I know you'll grow to love our car ride adventures!
On this day, you blew me away with how fast you learned how to drink from a cup!
You're four months old here, and just love your milk!
Your smile. The most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Our first time at Gymboree!
Another day at Gymboree. Mommy loves taking you out during the day to fun activities!
Okay, the only time you've taken a pacifier. Mommy really doesn't like sticking plastic inside your mouth, but this time, mommy's nips were hurting, so I tried to make you use the pacifier, and you did
...before you spit it out!
You make the cutest faces, Sophie!
This was us playing in your room, when you were five months old.
You can roll over from back to tummy, but not from tummy to back just yet.
Christmas Day!
Twinsies!
We love this high chair from Boon, don't we!? Much better than sitting at the dining table in your car seat!
You actually go bananas for bananas.
On your sixth month birthday. I felt the crown was fitting. I ate your cupcake. Sorry, Soph!
